Ultrasonic Cavitation

Non-invasive sound waves stimulate tissue to reduce cellulite.

Do you have tough areas of fat that just won’t go away? Love Handles? We can help!

Cellulite is a common cosmetic concern for many women. It occurs when fat pokes through the fibrous tissue of skin’s surface.

Ultrasound cavitation is a great solution for cellulite due to the reduction of fat cells and the wave pressure applied that effectively minimizes the appearance of dimples and cellulite.

What Is Ultrasonic Cavitation?

Ultrasonic Cavitation is an effective non-invasive method to breakdown fat deposits and reduce cellulite. When exercising or diet does not help, ultrasonic cavitation is the best way to solve cellulite problem.

Ultrasound Cavitation is a relatively new esthetic treatment. Using leading edge technology it converts fat cells into liquid which can then be naturally drained by the body’s own natural filtration system. It uses narrow-frequency ultrasonic waves to breakdown unwanted fat cells. Fat cells get dissolved and absorbed to the lymphatic system and then get excreted in your urine. Treatment starts with selected body area and is conducted in circular movement of applicator in the selected body area. Treatment duration for each target area can be anywhere from 20 to 30 minutes depending on size and thickness of the fat layer.  72 hours must pass between each session so that the body can eliminate the fat. The minimum suggested number of fat cavitation sessions is between 6 and 10.
Ultrasonic Cavitation and Liposuction work in similar way. The ultrasound field creates vibration in cells of a specific type (fat cells) and as a result, content of the cell gets hot and the cell membrane breaks down. Ultrasound cavitation does not require any pre-treatments and has no downtime.

Treatment does not require anesthesia as the procedure is painless for most clients. Some discomfort and temporary redness may appear for short time. Drinking regular water will eliminate any red spots in treated area.

Benefits of Ultrasound Cellulite Removal

Improve blood circulation & lymphatic system
Promotes elastic effect to the skin texture
Body shaping and tightening skin
No surgery / No pain

How it’s works?

The ultrasound - cavitation field creates bubbles in the liquid that surround the fat cells, which gradually grow, and implode. As the membranes of fat cells do not have the structural capacity to withstand the vibrations, the effect of ultrasonic cavitation easily breaks them, while sparing the vascular, nervous and muscular tissue.

Our therapist will apply a specially designed hand piece to your skin. The hand piece will then transmit low level ultrasonic waves which consist of compression – expansion impulses that travel in high-speed cycles. This back and forth cycle then causes an infinite quantity of micro-cavities or micro-bubbles that gradually enlarge. This progressive enlargement finishes as micro-bubbles start to collide and implode, producing shock waves that favor emulsification and elimination of fat tissues (this phenomena is called “cavitation”). The liquid is then easily vacuumed out from the body using the body’s own lymphatic and urinary system.

What happens to the released fat?

After disruption and emulsification of the fat cells, liquid which makes up the fat cells, in the form of triglycerides, is released into the interstitial fluid between the cells. This fluid is then metabolized to glycerol and free fatty acids. Water-soluble glycerol is absorbed by the circulatory system and used as the energy source, whereas the insoluble free fatty acids are transported to the liver and processed as fatty acids from food.

The fat is a solid substance, how can it be eliminated through the urine?

Because ultrasonic cavitation causes an emulsification of the fat, releasing the triglyceride fluid which is easy to eliminate through the urine and the lymphatic system.

What is the treatment like?

The duration of treatment session normally takes around 20 - 30 minutes, depending on the size of the area and the thickness of the fat layer.

Cavitation is a painless treatment. Mild redness may appear occasionally but will be highly unlikely to cause any actual pain. The heat from the hand pieces felt during the treatment is perfectly tolerable. This treatment is a nonsurgical procedure without anesthesia – it’s non-invasive (no cutting, leaves no scars or the need for any post-operative course) and no downtime should be experienced after the treatment.

What will I feel during the treatment?

The treatment quite relaxing and comfortable.

Is Ultrasonic Cavitation painful?

No, cavitation is a painless treatment.

Can these treatments be performed on male and females?

Yes, of course.

Which are the areas where treatment is more effective?

All those areas with localized fat and cellulite: thighs, abdomen, buttocks, hip flanks, arms and legs; but there is no real limitation as to areas of the body.

Is it possible to lose weight with Ultrasonic Cavitation?

Ultrasonic cavitation is NOT a method to lose weight but rather to reshape the body. The treatment is used to reduce stubborn fatty pockets that just won't go away with diet and exercise and to improve the appearance of cellulite. Treatments remove cellulite preventing fat cells from recurring in the treated areas, without damaging the vascular system. It is particularly indicated for the reduction of adiposity, the famous “love handles” that won’t go away with diet and exercise.

Must you follow any guidelines before or after undergoing Ultrasonic Cavitation?

We recommend a low calorie diet and to drink at least 1.0-1.5 liters of water before and after the session. After the session we recommend to do a small amount of cardio (brisk walk/jog). Drinking water and half an hour of cardio is a necessary part in order to eliminate the fat.

How much time should elapse between sessions?

We recommend an interval of 3-14 days between sessions.

How many sessions are usually needed?

Between 6 and 20 sessions, however, you will be able to appreciate the results in few of them.

Advantages over other treatments:

• Non-invasive treatment

• No need for hospitalization nor anesthesia

• No scars nor long term marking of the skin

• Very little discomfort

• Elimination of the fat through a natural process

• 20-60 min per session

• Affordable
